Data retention & deletion

If your subscription lapses, your vault remains read only for ninety days. We email reminders before any deletion window opens.

Owner deletion. You may permanently delete your account from Settings. Deletion removes vault entries, uploads, nominees, and remembrance content from our systems.

After unlock. Published remembrance pages and approved community biography contributions may remain visible to honour the life documented, unless the family requests removal.

Backups. Encrypted backups roll off on a thirty day cycle in production environments.

Offline export. Owners may download an encrypted offline copy at any time so a platform shutdown cannot strand your family.
