Child safety

Accounts are for adults. You must be 18 or over to hold an account. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13; if we learn we have, we delete it.

Children on family pages. Living children under 18 appear by first name only in a family tree, and any family member can be kept off a public page entirely.

Children's vaults are kept by their parents or guardians and released only at the age they choose.

Zero tolerance. Any sexual content involving a minor is refused, the account is closed, and it is reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, as the law requires.
